Godwin E. Bencini – Chairman

Godwin Bencini GEBis the Chairman of the Company. He is by profession an Insurance Broker and is the managing director of ACCORD Insurance Brokers PCC Ltd.

Over the years, he has garnered extensive experience in the insurance industry whereby he occupied the post of director on the boards of various national and private companies. He has written a number of insurance-related articles and given various talks on the same subject.

He is the Honorary Consul General of Slovakia in Malta and he is also the Dean of the Honorary Consular Corps in Malta. He was decorated by Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic, and awarded the Order of Merit of the Slovak Republic. He also received the prestigious award of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak.


Graham Bencini – Managing Director

Graham Bencini GBWebis the Managing Director of the Company and is responsible for its day-to-day operations. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Computing in 1997 at the Univeristy of Malta. He furthered his studies at the same Univeristy by obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Business Management in 1999. He went on to achieve a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2001. 

Having obtained invaluable experience within the Advisory Services department at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Graham completed his studies by pursuing an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) professional qualification in December 2009 and completed it in June 2012.

He is a Certified Public Accountant by profession, a fellow of the ACCA global body of professional accountants, a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners.


Pier Luca Demajo – Director

PLDPier Luca Demajo is the Chief Executive Officer of the M. Demajo Group, one of the largest and longest established groups of companies in Malta. The Group is one of the most highly diversified business concerns on the island and is also a participant in various joint ventures and today its activities go well beyond Malta’s shores particularly strong in North Africa and is generating growing activity in Europe.

Corporate and family governance have allowed the Group to advance in line with the requirements of the new century while maintaining and cultivating its traditional family values. He has taken over this role from his father Joseph M Demajo.

At 45 years of age, Pierluca is a third generation Demajo family member. He has studied in Malta, UK, Switzerland and Italy and is a business management graduate. For the past decades, he has led the Group’s IT and tourism business and was also involved in the consumer products sector.

He has occupied a variety of directorship posts on various boards and is also the Honorary Consul of Canada in Malta.


David Raphaël Busuttil – Director

David DRBRaphaël Busuttil occupies the post of Director on a number of companies forming part of the M. Demajo Group. He is also the Chairman and a Director of The Currency Cloud (Malta) and Founder of Taktos Ltd.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Malta and furthered his studies with a Diplome d’Etude Approfondie degree from the Université Paris Sorbonne.

He has written and edited a number of articles and publications, both for the general public and in academic journals.

He is currently the President of Alliance Francaise de Malte-Mediterranée, Executive Director of Fondation de Malte, Treasurer and Board Member of the Association Européenne pour la Defense des Droits de ‘l’Homme as well as the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Association of Human Rights in Malta.  He is a Chevalier des Arts & des Lettres of France.
